A Year In Review | 2014
What a year.
I know I’m hopping on the posting-your-best-images-of-the-year-train a bit late, but I’m here now with my heart completely poured out in this blog post, with images that make me feel like I’ve been a part of something much greater than myself, images that I hope have been engraved into the hearts of the subjects in them as much as they have in my heart. I am a part of visually capturing love in all its beautiful forms, and I might possibly never be able to wrap my head around the idea that this is my job.
I’ve been culling images for the past week and lets just say its been nearly impossible to narrow down my images any more than I already have, I just can’t. I would post more, but I don’t think anyone would make it through this entire blog post if I did. So I chose the images that spoke the loudest to me and my heart, the ones that reflect me in who I am as a visual storyteller and the direction I want to move forward in.
I learned a lot of things last year in this industry, somethings that filled me with overwhelming joy and other things that broke my heart to pieces, and things that reminded me that the hurt I feel is temporary but the biggest thing I learned was this; love in its truest forms is the most liberating, most real thing anyone can experience in this world. It brings out the best in people, and honestly it looks so darn good on everyone! It brings out those honest smiles, uncontrollable laughs, lingering kisses, tender glances, tight embraces and a rawness and honesty that this world so badly needs to be reminded of.
Love is awesome! I love love. I love people In love, and I love documenting love!
GIMME THOSE LOVE VIBES ALL DAY LONGGGGG!!
