Cliffside Elopement at Samuel H. Boardman

This last October we ventured out to Samuel H Boardman for an adventure elopement with two of the loveliest people ever! Nadia and Josh flew out all the way out from Missouri to get married in the beautiful coast of Oregon. Since they were familiar with the area they asked Maks and I to help them select their location and after chatting on the phone with them and hearing about their love for hiking and exploring and their love for cliffs I knew that Samuel H Boardman would be the most perfect location for them!
The day before the wedding we spent the entire day exploring Samuel H Boardman and hiked so many trails to find the perfect spot for the ceremony. It honestly was so hard to choose because literally every spot we hiked up to was absolutely magical in its own way, we finally decide on a cliff that had the melodic sounds of the ocean waves below us and a beautiful rock arch as a backdrop.
On the day of the wedding Nadia and Josh literally did whatever they wanted, we hiked all around Samuel H. Boardman experiencing some of the most beautiful views, got married on a cliff, popped champagne and ate pizza on the beach as the sun set and the stars woke up. Nadia also really wanted to do a bouquet toss at the end of the day. She was conflicted cause she wanted to toss her wedding bouquet off a cliff but she also wanted to be able to keep it so she could preserve it. We made jokes about tying a sting to it and tossing it off the cliff and then pulling it back up, but we ended up finding the perfect solution by tossing it into the ocean and having the groom run into the freezing cold water to grab it before the waves took it away🙈 sometimes you can have your cake and eat it too👍🏻
