Autumn Wedding at Tin Roof Barn | Karay + David
After literally falling in love with Karay and David during their engagement session at the carnival (which if you haven’t checked out you NEED to) we knew their wedding day was gonna freaking rock, and it did.
If you couldn’t already tell from their engagement photos, these two are the literal embodiment of happiness. If there was an Oscar for happiest bride and groom it would go to these two. Not only do they radiate joy but they make you feel like you’re also a part of it. They make you feel like their joy is your joy, they allowed us to experience their wedding day through the lens of utter happiness. It barely felt like we were working. It felt like we were hanging out with two friends while they got married. We are so happy this day came together so beautifully for Karay and David. We miss these two so much and once again are so thankful we can call them friends.
A first look doesn’t always have to be done with your eyes, it can be whatever feels right to you. Wether that’s singing a song, reading private vows, having a first touch, or surprising each other with gifts, the possibilities are infinite. It can be what you want it to be. To Karay and David it meant hearing each others voices, feeling each others hands, feeling each others joy, and most of all it meant praying together before walking down the aisle. This was such a sweet sweet sweet first look, overflowing with so much excitement and utter love for the person beside them. -also I loved how Karay’s maid of honor was there to wipe away her tears at the end, so so sweet.😭

Words from the bride & groom:
We prayed for a venue that would embody intentionality, it’s something that is super important to us. We love details and being somewhere that tells a story, so when we visited Tin roof barn it made choosing the venue as easy as sippin’ on a coconut on the beach! Being there felt like home for the both us on our wedding day, and what a treat that was!
We felt smothered in love and “all the feels” all day long, and seriously worried about the laugh creases showing up in our photos haha! Our favorite memory though was one that lasted about 3 minutes... that first special dance as husband and wife. Man o man, what a dance it was for us! I’ve never felt so intimately connected in a room full of eyes. It’s like we forgot everyone was there. Truly, we are smitten about it and pray that God continues to reinvent that emotion for us each and every year of our marriage!
Cheers to love, and that it will always win!
