Moody Vow Renewal at Lake Crescent | Olympic National Park

When Rebecca and Devon got married 5 years ago the style of their wedding day wasn’t exactly a true representation of them, so of course when they started to plan their vow renewal they wanted to make sure the style & feeling truly represented them. Starting with Rebecca choosing a black gown with glittering gold accents and Devon choosing a bold maroon suit. Black is one of my favorite colors so when Rebecca sent me a photo of her gown I nearly screamed out of pure joy, not to mention how absolutely amazing it looked on her! Both Devon & Rebecca looked absolutely bewitching on their special day! They came out to the West Coast from North Carolina, and had their vow renewal at Lake Crescent located in the Olympic National Park. We spent an hour before their ceremony walking around the lake taking portraits and laughing our heads off, and then once the sun nuzzled into the mountains it was ceremony time. Standing on the lakeside’s edge Rebecca & Devon reminisced on the years they spent together, they exchanged words of their love and devotion to one another, shared laughter and high fives, and topped it off with a special rock exchange of rocks that reminded them of one another.
Rebecca herself is a photographer, so you can only guess what an honor it was being able to shoot with a fellow creative! She and I had connected years ago through instagram when she first started getting into photography, and always chatted through the dms. I have always been so inspired by how hard Rebecca has worked to get where she is today. She always go above and beyond to create a loving space for her clients and keeps constantly blowing me away with her creativity! I cannot wait to see how far she’ll go!
