Adventurous waterfall honeymoon in Ubud Bali | Tegenungan Waterfall

DAY 2 : Bridal Session

We would have never guessed that this would be our last trips before Covid became a reality. We are so grateful for the opportunity we had to join Sarah & Jim in Bali! Honeymoon sessions are quickly becoming a favorite of ours, what better way to capture the beautiful scenery of your honeymoon then by bringing your wedding attire and having a bridal session! We are forever trying to figure out how we got so lucky to be able to travel the globe with our clients and capture the most stunning photos for them!

After ventnting out to Northern Bali for our first session the day before, for day two we decided to stay closer to central Bali and decided on a waterfall near our favorite village Ubud! Tegenungan waterfall is one of the most popular waterfalls located near Ubud. It gets packed with people very quickly so the earlier you can get there the better. We arrived right before sunrise to begin the session hoping we would have the location to ourselves but there we other likeminded people that showed up just as early! Nonetheless we were able to maneuver around others and make it look like we were the only ones there during our session. The amount of traffic a location gets is something to keep in mind when choosing a location for your session! Locations that are very popular on Instagram tend to have higher traffic . Which is why we always try to find alternative locations that have less foot-traffic, and are less known. Its always fun to shoot somewhere a little less known so you get more privacy and the whole location to yourselves!
